I have been a photographer for over sixteen years and one of my missions have always been to develop a small set of presets that I can use to keep some consistancy through my images. Through the last sixteen years I have been working on a Lightroom formular that could saticify that need. For the last four years I have been consistant of using the latest of my formulars: One for black and white rendering and one for color. The color preset was by far the hardest for me. I wanted to create a “filmic” preset that would replicate a kodachromatic feel, a vintage film look that would give my color photography a hint of nostalgia.

While I keep experimenting and developing new presets, these two are the ones I keep coming back to. Now keep in mind that presets are not made for easy apply, you still need to mess around with the settings untill you get the look that you want for your images.
